The victims were young couples parked down lovers’ lanes or camping and they suffered both gunshot and stab wounds, with the female usually found mutilated. The next victims were Stefano Baldi, 26, and his fiancee Susanna Cambi, a 24-year-old telephonist who were killed in a park later that year.
He shot the young couple known as Carmela De Nuccio and Giovanni Foggi.
The Crime Library and MSNBC both have stories about the crimes, but I think Dateline had the most interesting show where an American author and Italian journalist who wrote a book about the murders tell their stories.
